The maximum number of additional drivers permitted per rental is two. Additional drivers fee is 3 EUR per day with a maximum charge of 30 EUR per rental. Rental conditions apply to all additional drivers. All costs are exclusive of VAT.

Minimum driver's age is 21 years for car groups Mini and Economy Minimum driver's age is 23 years for car groups Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Full-size. Maximum driver's age is 75 years for all categories. Young driver's surcharge of 3.00 EUR per day plus VAT applies for all drivers under the age of 23 (21 to 22 years) for car groups Compact, Intermediate, Standard and Full-size.

Cross Border Travel Out of country rentals: You may drive the rental car to certain countries outside of Bulgaria. Restrictions do apply. Out of country rentals require prior approval and are charged at an extra 5.00 EUR per day and 50.00 EUR fee for green card. Out of country rentals are allowed only into following Countries: Albania, Belgium, Bosnia, Greece, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Luxembourg, Moldova, Montenegro, Netherlands, Norway, Austria, Portugal, Sweden, Croatia, Italy, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Czech Republic, Fyrom, Hungary, Spain and Switzerland. Out of country rentals are not allowed to countries that are not listed above. Process and publication of green card: The minimum time of publication of a green card is 5 working days. The green card covers the rented vehicle with basic insurance (T.P.I.) as long as it remains in the borders of the country for which it is issued. Roadside assistance - car replacement is available while driving to the above listed countries except Albania, Bosnia, Moldova and Montenegro.

Collision Damage Waiver is an optional coverage product which reduces the customer’s financial responsibility in cases of damage to the rental vehicle to the excess and or deductible amount. The customer is liable for the full cost of the vehicle if this coverage product is not purchased or if no police statement was presented in the event of an accident to the rental company. All costs are exclusive of VAT. Car Groups Mini and Economy 11.00 EUR PER DAY - excess is 400.00 EUR. Car Groups Compact, Intermediate and Standard 11.00 EUR per day - excess is 600.00 EUR. Car Groups Full-size 27.00 EUR per day - excess is 900.00 EUR. Car Groups Intermediate SUV and Standard SUV 20.00 EUR per day - excess is 900.00 EUR.

Refueling policy- customers must return the car with a full tank or the same amount of fuel in the rental vehicle at time of pickup or refueling charges will apply. Unleaded-diesel - 1.50 EUR per litre. All costs are exclusive of VAT.

All EU licences are valid in Bulgaria as well as America, Canada, UK, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia etc. Military driving licences are not allowed. The licence must have been held for at least one year. Non-Roman script licences must have an International licence and their licence from country of domicile.

During the winter season of 1 November to 31 March and in cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Bulgaria all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.

Accepted methods of payment: Credit card/Car Rental voucher/Tour Operator voucher. All clients must produce a valid credit card in the driver's name as a form of deposit when collecting a rental car. Cash deposit is also acceptable for some car groups. At the beginning of the rental; credit cards must have available credit (funds) sufficient to authorize / pay the estimated amount of rental charges plus an amount determined by National Car Rental Bulgaria (depending on the car group) to cover any incidental charges. For the prepaid rentals, the available credit must be sufficient to authorize an amount determined by National Car Rental Bulgaria (depending on the car group) to cover any incidental charges. Car Rental Voucher / Tour Operator Voucher or other valid credit documentation issued by the tour operator, plus a valid credit card or cash must be presented when picking up the rental car. Cash deposits are accepted only for car group Mini at the beginning of the rental, the client must leave a deposit of 800.00 EUR excluding VAT. For credit cards, the deposit for groups Mini and Economy is 500.00 EUR, for groups Compact, Intermediate and Standard is 700.00 EUR and for car groups Intermediate, Standard SUV and Full-size is 1000.00 EUR. Cash deposits are held until the car is returned. Credit card deposits will be released automatically by the bank in 30 days after the date of the initial deposit. If an extra payment has been made (for service or equipment, non-prepaid / not included in the voucher amount) in this period it will be released in one day. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE IN CASES OF MECHANICAL FAILURE OR ACCIDENT IS AVAILABLE. IN ANY CASE OF ACCIDENT OR BREAKDOWN THE CUSTOMER SHOULD CONTACT THE BRANCH IN WHICH THE RENTAL VEHICLE WAS PICKED-UP AS WELL AS THE ROAD ASSISTANCE PROVIDER. IN CASES WHERE THE VEHICLE IS DRIVEN ABROAD AND INCURS A MECHANICAL FAILURE OR OTHER ISSUE, INCLUDING ACCIDENT, THE EXPENSES FOR THE TRANSPORTATION AND RECOVERY OF THE RENTAL VEHICLE WILL BE THE FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER. IN THE CASE OF ANY ACCIDENT THE CUSTOMER IS OBLIGED TO SEND A COPY OF ALL POLICE DOCUMENTS WITHIN 24 HOURS TO THE RENTAL LOCATION. THE ORIGINAL COPY OF THE POLICE REPORT IS REQUIRED. IN CASES OF A DAMAGED VEHICLE BEING RETURNED WITHOUT THE SUBMISSION OF THE POLICE REPORT ALL EXPENSES WILL BE CHARGED TO THE RENTER.

Customers must present a full and valid driving licence which has been held for a minimum of one year. All EU driving licences-permits are accepted. An international driving licence-permit from the customers current residence will be required for non English scripted licences. Military driving licences are not accepted.
